National Festivals
A national festival is a festival celebrated by the whole country.
There are three major national festivals:
1. Republic Day
India became a republic on 26th
January 1950.
2. Independence Day
Independence Day is celebrated on
15th August every year.
India got freedom from British rule
on this day in 1947.
